Wear a Compression Garment

What are some implant-associated complications I should be aware of?
Capsular contracture is one of the main complications associated with implants. This occurs when scar tissue that naturally forms around an implant begins to harden and compresses the implant. Capsular contracture can be extremely painful and even change the appearance of the breasts, which is why it needs immediate attention from your plastic surgeon.
How do I know if my breast implant has ruptured?
If a saline implant has ruptured, your breast will change in size as the implant deflates. Detecting a ruptured silicone implant is more difficult, but common warning signs include change in breast shape, lumps forming in the breast, and soreness of the surrounding breast tissue.
Do implants affect breastfeeding?
With inframammary breast augmentation, patients should be able to breastfeed normally since the incisions are located on the underside of the breast rather than the nipple.
